"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?...For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: 'I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.' Therefore 'Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,' says the LORD Almighty."   (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

IN Closing
We are blessed to be here, serving the Lord in prison and in prison aftercare.  There are lives in prison that are being transformed by the power of the cross of Jesus Christ.  Men in the Discipleship Groups are truly growing in Christian maturity.  If you have raised a child to adulthood, you know the process is never smooth.  Though each is a unique experience, there are ups and downs.  Yet, your commitment to your child is steady throughout.  This is our commitment to these men, and the commitment of the NBF volunteers.  They are our Brothers, not sons, but that is our heart: to walk with them on this walk of faith, whatever may come their way.  Some will fall down and despair of ever standing again, some will fall down and just need a hand to get back up, and some will fight to stay on their feet and press on in faith. And, cannot we all say that is our testimony, too?

It is a privilege to serve these men of God.

Serving Christ,
Doug and Caroline Gregan
